Inspiration:

Saw a photo in steam railway magazine which I decided to incorporate and develop into an interesting period painting.

The year is around 1950. We see 'castle class' departing from Foregate Street, Worcester with a passenger train. A cargo narrowboat passes under the viaduct on the Worcester canal.
