After a visit to Hatton Country World in Warwickshire
I soon discovered the Grand Union Canal nearby, one Autumn evening.

The view you see is more or less as my photograph.

A low sun and strong autumnal colours make for an atmospheric painting.

Loose pieces of ice float on the canal water.
