Will
he or won't he?
The fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) deliberates whether to end the evil
of the Daleks forever by bringing the two wires together trailing
back to the Dalek laboratory ('Genesis of the Daleks').
His companions look on including Sarah Jane Smith and Harry Sullivan.
Danger lurks behind the Doctor as the servant of Sutekh is travelling
towards him through the time corridor (Pyramids of Mars). These
are some of my best memories of the Tom Baker era.
I have been lucky enough to meet the great actor Tom Baker at
Longleat, Wiltshire (Dr Who Exhibition 1998).
